Custom Drapes - Asbury Park, NJ

For this Asbury Park, New Jersey home, KOPA Drapes installed custom drapery in both the bedroom and living room, bringing warmth and a finished designer look to two very different spaces.

In the bedroom, the drapes were designed as decorative side panels on a beautiful designer rod with rings. They frame the large window wall and soften the strong architectural lines of the shutters, dark wallcovering, and white headboard. The fabric adds texture without overwhelming the room, creating a calm, layered look that feels elegant but still relaxed. Because the shutters already provide privacy and light control, the drapery panels serve as a finishing detail, adding height and a more luxurious bedroom feel.

In the living room, the drapes were designed with more function in mind. These panels fully close across the windows and stack neatly between each window opening when open. This approach allows the windows to remain visible during the day while giving the room the option of privacy and softness when the drapes are closed. The patterned fabric works beautifully with the light wood wall paneling and pale flooring, adding subtle movement and texture to the space without competing with the clean, modern design.
