At KOPA Drapes, we believe every window treatment should elevate the beauty and functionality of a space. We recently completed a stunning installation in a new construction home in Saddle River, NJ, that perfectly illustrates this philosophy. The project involved a serene and sophisticated bedroom in a modern, elegant residence, where we installed custom cordless top-down bottom-up roman shades and two-tone drapery panels—designed to bring both style and practicality to the space.

The Roman shades were custom-crafted for precise fit and clean lines, with the added functionality of cordless top-down bottom-up control. This feature gives the homeowners flexible light management and privacy while maintaining the sleek, minimalist look the home’s architecture called for. No cords, no clutter—just a seamless blend of beauty and ease of use.

To complement the shades, we designed custom drapes using two luxurious fabrics: 20 inches of a contrasting texture at the bottom and 80 inches of a striped silk fabric on top. This modern combination added depth and visual interest to the room. The proportions were carefully chosen to elongate the space visually and frame the windows with understated drama.

Every detail—from fabric selection to hardware finish—was tailored to this unique home’s aesthetic. The result is a harmonious blend of function, elegance, and modern design that enhances the comfort and style of the space.
