Two-Tone Drapes In nursey
Goal of the project: The client transformed their Guest Bedroom into a Nursery. The client already had blinds in the window but wanted drapery panels to block light from coming in the sides of the blinds. The client also wanted the drapery panels to dress up the windows and compliment the colors in the room
What we recommended: Floor to ceiling blackout lined drapery side panels to block the light. Our designers recommended doing the drapery in a color-block style in order to bring in multiple colors to match the room. The Reverie fabric is a two-tone fabric with a subtle sheen, giving the fabric dimension without having a busy pattern. The colors chosen are Passionate and Scenic which compliment the fun wallpaper the client has on the crib wall. To coordinate with the subtle shiny finish of the fabric, the client opted for designer style rod with rings hardware in metallic silver.
Installation: We installed the drapes 1/2 inch off the floor. We mounted the hardware close to the ceiling to add to the perception of height and block extra light from coming in.
