The holiday season is here and for many of us that means updating our home decor.  Part of the update can include changing draperies. Seasonal and holiday drapes have a dramatic effect on changing the look and feel of your room.

Window treatments set the tone of the room and are often the first thing that people see when entering a room.  For these reason, updating custom drapes with the season can be key to creating the perfect seasonal ambiance.

Our design team compiled a simple list of ideas, tips & benefits of seasonal drapes:

• Keep existing drapery hardware, just change the drapery panels. You can also add stationary panels to your sheers, and install them on the same hardware.
• Decor:  Update to Fall, Winter & Holiday colors which tend to be darker and more bold that Spring & Summer colors.  Our suggestions: Deep Red, Navy Blue, Hunter Green, Burnt Orange and Chocolate Brown
• Thermal Drapes:  Replace drapes in drafty windows, especially bedrooms with Thermal Insulating drapes
• Style: Update to heavier weight fabrics, Velvets, Brocades, etc for a more cozy feel

Getting started with seasonal and holiday drapes may feel like a task but it is actually a fun way to update decor and can be easily repeated each year!
