Goal of the project: The client renovated their Formal Dining Room in Franklin Lakes, NJ. The client’s objective was to create a custom high end formal design with the window drapery to coordinate with the style of the room. The client also wanted the option of sheers and drapes to control the lighting and mood of the room
What we recommended: Drapery panels with our signature Reverie fabric in Scenic color. This drapery fabric is a two-tone fabric with a subtle sheen. The dark silver Scenic color goes well with the table, flooring and other accents in the room. For the sheers, the customer selected from our Tableau collection a very light gray. The color tone goes well with the drapery panels.
To top off the high end designer look, the customer chose to add a custom cornice to finish off the top of the window. The clean lines of the cornice echoes the lines in the rest of the room such as the ceiling details and wainscotting.
Installation: We installed the drapes 1/4 inch off the floor for a clean style and mounted the hardware close to the ceiling, to add to the perception of height. This adds to the overall elegance and statement of the window treatments.
