Goal of the project: This client in North Caldwell, NJ renovated the dining room and living room area. She wants to bring in warmth to the room, while keeping a very airy and light feeling to the room.
What we recommended: We recommended separate drapery panels to cover the molding between the windows. We manufactured and installed separate panels. Privacy is not an issue at all for this customer. There is therefore no need for fully closing drapes. Stationary custom side panels are both an elegant option and a great value for money.
Our signature fabric Evoque Calm is a warm white, with a light sheen. The room stays airy and bright. The modern pleat, tacked “high”, gives a clean look to the pleated drapes. The hardware is a simple hidden track, installed as high on the wall as possible. The room has therefore an added impression of height.
Installation: We installed the custom drapes just off the floor, about 1/4 inch.
