custom Drapes - Mendham, NJ
Goal of the project: This client in Mendham, NJ renovated the living room. She wants to bring in warmth to the room, while keeping a very airy and light feeling to the room.
What we recommended: We recommended separate drapery panels to cover the molding between the windows. Rather than doing one large pair of drapes for the main window on the right, we manufactured and installed separate panels. Privacy is not a major issue for this customer. The drapery panels are closed only occasionally. Separate panels add warmth to the window, softening the overall feeling of the room.
Our signature fabric Evoque Calm is a warm white, with a light sheen. The room stays airy and bright. The modern pleat, tacked “high”, gives a clean look to the pleated drapes. The hardware is a designer rod with rings in matte black color. The color goes well with other elements of the room, including the floor lamps.
Installation: We installed the custom drapes just off the floor, about 1/4 inch.
