Goal of the project: The client wanted to protect the furniture from the afternoon sun.

What we recommended: A custom Ripplefold curtain in our Fortrose Flute embroidered drapery fabric. Ripplefold pleat curtains have less stacking than traditional pinch pleat draperies. The customer was looking for a one-way curtain panel, because there was no room for stacking on the wall near the fireplace. The right side of the window had wall space to gather the curtain panel once opened. The Fortrose fabric is an embroidered fabric in different grey and gold tones, with a soft geometric pattern. The drapery panel is lined with a white privacy liner to protect the fabric and the furniture from the strong afternoon sun. The hardware selected is our signature Performance Traverse Track with ball bearing carriers, for a smooth operation.

Curtain installation: The installation of this high ceiling Ripplefold curtain was done at a 2/3 distance between the top of the window and the ceiling. As a result the window feels even taller in the room.
