Goal of the project: The client renovated the whole home. The objective was to have draperies that would offer protection from the strong afternoon sun flooding the living room.

What we recommended: Fully closing drapes in our signature Reverie fabric. Reverie is a two-tone solid fabric with a light sheen. The Artifact dark grey color creates a dramatic presence, and picks up the dark color of the floor and the sofa fabric. For high ceiling drapes, we recommended our designer traverse tracks, which have ball bearing carriers for easy opening and closing. Installation of high ceiling draperies is a real science. Exact measurement of drapes that are over 200″ in height is critical, so that all drapes are 1/2″ off the floor. This allows for easy opening and closing, while keeping the bottom of the drapes clean. The designer traverse track is in satin nickel color finished with Elmore finials.
